Cogito Ergo Sum, the infamous Latin expression coined by the French philosopher René Descartes which translates as  "I think therefore I am", helped shape Western Philosophy. Je Vois Donc Je Suis serves as a revision of that phrase in French. It can either mean, "I see therefore I am" or "I see therefore I follow." The Double Entendre attempts to encapsulate what all artists seek in their work which is both depth and ambiguity.
